What Are Your Relationship Patterns?

It’s funny how the universe is so impeccable with its timing.

Just last blog I mentioned that my next article was going to be on relationship patterns (which was just a natural continuation of the previous article), and boom, it hit me straight in the heart! The saying “You receive what you ask for” never sounded so true.

One of my relationship patterns revolves around trust.

With my south node in conjunction with my moon in Scorpio, it’s no surprise (yes, I’m an astrology geek, and proud)!

I have a very, very hard time trusting people. The very few times I trusted people – and they can only be counted on one hand – after a very long time, I have systematically been let down. And I mean all kinds of trust.

I just started my 3-month radio media tour for the launch of my upcoming book The Grey Dance of Love and for my first ever radio interview, my host has been interviewing very influential people (among them Marianne Williamson, Don Miguel Ruiz, Gregg Braden, Bruce Lipton, Neal Donald Walsh, and Gretchen Rubin) so it caught me by surprise and my panic mode was on.

Naturally, my first thought was that my partner would reassure me and be by my side for such an important event.

Alas, she had other priorities … she chose sleep over me! The person I trusted the most wasn’t there when I needed her most. A rational person would say: “I can’t trust her anymore, can I?”

All kinds of thoughts passed through my mind. Is she really my Ms. Grey Dance after all, perhaps I was mistaken, and we are actually Mr. and Ms. Bad Sparks? She’s been here for the good times, but she simply wasn’t here for my launch. It’s a pretty big red flag if you ask me!

I started going through my theories and checking them one by one, and then it hit me!

I keep on attracting people I can’t trust or who let me down over and over again! It is I and I alone. It is a pattern of mine, and it is time for me to realize that I alone am the problem. Relationships are mirrors of our self after all. I realized that I actually don’t trust myself!

I now know what I’m going to be working on, but what about you?

Do you know your relationship patterns?

Look at your own life – your relationship blueprint is just in front of you. All you need is to open your eyes.

Do you keep on attracting the bad boy or bad girl? (Perhaps you keep on having intense short-term relationships.)

Do you keep on attracting a partner that is emotionally unavailable? (Perhaps you keep on attracting partners that are in a relationship or married or abroad.)

The list of relationship patterns is endless.

Remember that partners in our lives are pure blessings, they help us better understand ourselves. So, don’t shoot the messenger, rather look at the message.

In the end, you can change your partners as much as you want, but as long as you continue to ignore that part of you that keeps popping up and needs healing, you will keep attracting the same type of people in your life.

As for my partner and I, we are stronger than that. Our love transcends time and space, no matter how far we wander, we will always find each other. Our bond is beyond those of life and death because we drank from the same cup in the magic fountain of eternal love and promised to be there for each other for all eternity.

This time, she reminded me of my need to work on trusting myself and I reminded her to work on a pattern of hers. This is what we beautiful souls do; we remind each other of who we are and what we came here to experience. We come from a place of unconditional love to experience conditional love and rise above it.

In our earthly relationship, we humans tend to look for magic all the time and so when one small bump along the road happens, we believe it is not love and just give up.

But giving up means love was never there, rather it was need all along!

My partner is my most beautiful gift. What about yours? Send this to your partner and tell them what you love about them!

Your Partner in Unconditional Love,

Sending you Love & Light,

George
